This is a mostly private site to keep Michael Lewis’ bull riding pictures and videos and some of the stories that go along with them
Michael Lewis Bull Rider: My story will be spelled out in these pages
Raised in North Texas, I grew up chasing the sport of rodeo and found my passion in bull riding. From small practice pens to high school rodeos and eventually the PRCA, the arena became a place where I tested myself against rank bulls and learned lessons that carried far outside the chute.
This site is a personal archive of that journey. It isn’t built for promotion or business — just a way to preserve photos, videos, and memories from the years I spent riding, traveling, and competing. This is all of the material that I can find regarding my rodeo days. Many many pictures, videos and media clippings/files have been lost. I hope to keep adding to this as the years go by. It seems like the majority of my good rides and large event records have been lost and I’m not sure why. I cant seem to find anything referencing the major rodeos and bull riding i competed in. I have reached out to every photographer and videographer I could find and most of them say either without their order number that they put on the media they cant find them or they don’t have archives that go back to the 90’s. I sure wish I had taken the time to try to gather all of this stuff a couple of decades ago instead of waiting till now. That’s life I guess.
Today, I’m retired from rodeo and run a few small companies in real estate and design. But this space is dedicated to the years I spent climbing down on bulls — the highs, the wrecks, and everything in between. Through these pages you’ll find snapshots of that story, told through the photos and videos that captured it along the way.
